शाहपुर, 14 अगस्त। शाहपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र की मनेई पंचायत के भंद्रेला में आज राजीव गांधी वन संवर्धन योजना और 76वां वन महोत्सव बड़े उत्साह के साथ मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्यातिथि के रूप में विधायक एवं उपमुख्य सचेतक केवल सिंह पठानिया ने आंवले का पौधा रोपित किया और सभी से जन्मदिन एवं सालगिरह पर पौधारोपण का संकल्प लेने का आह्वान किया।
उन्होंने बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू की दूरदृष्टि से शुरू हुई इस योजना के तहत अगले 5 वर्षों में 100 करोड़ रुपए व्यय होंगे, जिसमें वित्त वर्ष 2025-26 में 20 करोड़ की लागत से 1000–1050 हेक्टेयर भूमि पर पौधारोपण होगा। शाहपुर विधानसभा में 80 हेक्टेयर भूमि पर पौधारोपण होगा, वहीं मनेई पंचायत में 5 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में लगभग 4000 पौधे लगाए जाएंगे।
कार्यक्रम में विभिन्न पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों को सम्मानित किया गया और अर्जुन, जामुन, आंवला आदि के पौधे रोपे गए। इस अवसर पर वन विभाग और अन्य विभागों के अधिकारी, पंचायत प्रतिनिधि और स्थानीय नागरिक बड़ी संख्या में मौजूद रहे।
Shahpur, August 14. The Rajiv Gandhi Forest Conservation Scheme and the 76th Van Mahotsav were inaugurated today in Bhandrela, Manei Panchayat of Shahpur constituency with great enthusiasm. Chief guest and Deputy Chief Whip, MLA Kewal Singh Pathania planted an Amla sapling and urged everyone to pledge tree plantation on birthdays and anniversaries.
He informed that under the visionary initiative of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, ₹100 crore will be invested over the next 5 years, with ₹20 crore allocated in FY 2025-26 to plant trees over 1,000–1,050 hectares. In Shahpur constituency, 80 hectares will be covered, while in Manei Panchayat, nearly 4,000 saplings will be planted over 5 hectares.
The event also honoured several Panchayat representatives and saw the plantation of Arjun, Jamun, and Amla trees. Forest officials, department officers, Panchayat leaders, and local residents participated enthusiastically.
