भाजपा लुधियाना जिला कार्यालय में जनसंघ के संस्थापक डॉ. श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी की जयंती भाजपा जिला अध्यक्ष रजनीश धीमान की अध्यक्षता में श्रद्धापूर्वक मनाई गई। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत डॉ. मुखर्जी के चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पण और माल्यार्पण के साथ हुई।
रजनीश धीमान ने डॉ. मुखर्जी के राष्ट्रवादी विचारों और बलिदान को याद करते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने “एक देश में दो निशान, दो प्रधान, दो विधान नहीं चलेंगे” जैसे नारे से देश की एकता और अखंडता के लिए अद्वितीय योगदान दिया। डॉ. मुखर्जी का जन्म 6 जुलाई 1901 को हुआ और उन्होंने 1953 में देश की अखंडता के लिए अपने प्राणों की आहुति दी।
कार्यक्रम में रमेश शर्मा, यशपाल जनोत्रा, डॉ. निर्मल नय्यर, मनीष चोपड़ा, सुरिंदर कौशल, राज शर्मा, बलविंदर शर्मा, सुरेश अग्रवाल, राकेश पराशर, रितेश जैस्वाल, राजीव वर्मा और तनुज जैन सहित कई कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे।
On the birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the founder of Jan Sangh, BJP Ludhiana held a tribute event at the district office under the leadership of District President Rajneesh Dhiman. The event began with floral tributes and garlanding of Dr. Mookerjee’s portrait.
In his address, Dhiman highlighted Dr. Mookerjee’s nationalist ideology and his famous slogan — “Ek desh mein do nishan, do pradhan, do vidhan nahi chalenge” — emphasizing his role in strengthening India’s unity. Born on July 6, 1901, Dr. Mookerjee sacrificed his life in 1953 while fighting for national integrity.
Senior leaders including Ramesh Sharma, Yashpal Janotra, Dr. Nirmal Nayyar, Manish Chopra, spokesperson Surinder Kaushal, councillor Raj Sharma, Balwinder Sharma, Suresh Agrawal, Rakesh Parashar, Ritesh Jaiswal, Rajeev Verma, and Tanuj Jain were present and paid homage.
This gathering served as a moment to reconnect with the party’s ideological roots and honor a stalwart of Indian politics.
