कुल्लू, 7 जुलाई। जिला कुल्लू में एसडीएमएफ (राज्य आपदा न्यूनीकरण निधि) के तहत निर्माणाधीन कार्यों की प्रगति की समीक्षा के लिए उपायुक्त तोरुल एस. रवीश की अध्यक्षता में एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में जल शक्ति विभाग, लोक निर्माण विभाग और राजस्व विभाग के अधिकारियों ने भाग लिया।
बैठक में उपायुक्त ने विभागवार जानकारी लेते हुए कार्यों की स्थिति पर संतोष व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि पेयजल, सिंचाई योजनाएं और जल निकासी से जुड़े कार्य मानसून से पूर्व पूर्ण किए जाएं ताकि जलभराव और आपदा की स्थिति से निपटा जा सके। उन्होंने रेट्रोफिटिंग कार्यों की गुणवत्ता सुनिश्चित करने और समयबद्ध पूर्णता पर भी बल दिया।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि आपदा प्रबंधन से संबंधित परियोजनाएं आम जनता की सुरक्षा और सतत विकास के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण हैं। विभागों को आपसी समन्वय से काम करने और समय-समय पर प्रगति रिपोर्ट देने के निर्देश भी दिए गए।
Kullu, July 7: A crucial review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Torul S. Ravish to assess the progress of construction works under the State Disaster Mitigation Fund (SDMF) in Kullu. Officials from Jal Shakti, PWD, Revenue, and District Disaster Management Authority participated in the meeting.
The DC expressed satisfaction over the progress so far and directed departments to prepare DPRs/PPRs for essential pending works. Special focus was given to drainage management, water supply, and irrigation projects, which must be completed in a time-bound manner considering the upcoming monsoon.
The retrofit of public buildings and structures was also reviewed in detail, with instructions to maintain quality and adhere to deadlines. DC Ravish stressed that projects under SDMA are critical for public safety and sustainable development, and effective coordination among departments is essential for timely disaster response.
