हमीरपुर जिले के गरने के गलू क्षेत्र में स्थित लगभग 50 वर्ष पुराना शिव मंदिर आज संकट के दौर से गुजर रहा है। आवाहदेवी-पन्याला सड़क मार्ग पर हुए निर्माण कार्य के कारण भूमि कटाव बढ़ गया है, जिससे मंदिर की नींव कमजोर हो गई है और वह गिरने की कगार पर पहुंच गया है।
स्थानीय निवासियों पन्याला और भरनांग गांव के लोगों ने इस मंदिर की सुरक्षा के लिए कई बार प्रशासन और स्थानीय विधायक को पत्र लिखकर डंगा लगाने की मांग की, मगर अब तक कोई सुनवाई नहीं हुई। लोगों की आस्था से जुड़ा यह शिव मंदिर सावन माह में श्रद्धालुओं से भरा रहता है। यहां भंडारे व धार्मिक आयोजनों का भी नियमित आयोजन होता है।
दिले राम पुत्र लक्ष्मण सिंह, निवासी पन्याला, ने बताया कि सड़क निर्माण के चलते मंदिर के पास की जमीन की खुदाई से लहासा गिर चुका है और अब मंदिर की दीवारें खतरे में हैं। यदि शीघ्र कोई सुरक्षा उपाय न किए गए तो यह ऐतिहासिक मंदिर पूरी तरह से ढह सकता है।
सड़क की नई एलाइनमेंट के चलते, यह मार्ग अब एनएच-03 से जुड़ गया है, जिससे वहां ट्रैफिक बढ़ गया है। लेकिन इस निर्माण से स्थानीय धार्मिक विरासत को भारी नुकसान पहुंचा है। आश्चर्य की बात यह है कि प्रशासन को बार-बार ज्ञापन देने के बावजूद भी न तो कोई अधिकारी मौके पर आया और न ही किसी प्रकार की सुरक्षा दीवार (डंगा) निर्माण की प्रक्रिया शुरू हुई।
स्थानीय लोगों ने प्रशासन और सरकार से अपील की है कि मंदिर की रक्षा के लिए अविलंब कदम उठाए जाएं ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियां भी इस आस्था के केंद्र से जुड़ी रहें।
A 50-year-old Shiv temple located near Garne Ke Galu in Hamirpur district is facing imminent collapse due to soil erosion caused by recent road construction. The temple, located on the Awaah Devi-Panyala road, now lies dangerously close to the edge after a landslide occurred during road digging.
Locals from Panyala and Bharanang villages have repeatedly written to the administration and local MLA seeking the construction of a protective wall, but no action has been taken. Residents say that this temple is a center of devotion, especially during the holy Sawan month, when hundreds of devotees gather here.
According to Dile Ram, a local resident, excavation during roadwork near the temple has severely damaged its foundation. If a retaining wall (danga) is not constructed soon, the temple may collapse completely.
This road has now been aligned with NH-03, increasing vehicular movement and further worsening the situation. Despite multiple requests, no government official has inspected the site or offered help.
Locals demand immediate intervention to save this spiritual and cultural heritage.
