गरीब खोखाधारकों के लिए 35 लाख की दुकानों व ग्रामीण हाट का शुभारंभ, बिट्टू बोले– CM ने उनकी पुकार सुनी

मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू की दृष्टि और संवेदनशीलता को प्रतिबिंबित करता हुआ एक और विकास कार्य आज हमीरपुर में साकार हुआ। मुख्यमंत्री के राजनीतिक सलाहकार सुनील शर्मा बिट्टू ने बस स्टैंड के पास लगभग ₹35 लाख की लागत से बनाए जाने वाले खोखाधारकों के लिए दुकानों और ग्रामीण हाट का शिलान्यास किया।
बिट्टू ने शिलान्यास समारोह में कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री ने गरीब एवं लाचार खोखाधारकों की पुकार सुनी है। इन खोखाधारकों को आंशिक रूप से बेदखल किया गया था और अब मुख्यमंत्री के निर्देश पर उन्हें पुनर्वास और उचित व्यावसायिक साधन प्रदान किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि इन दुकानों के साथ ही ग्रामीण हाट स्थापित करने का निर्णय ग्रामीण महिला स्वयं सहायता समूहों के उत्पादों को बाज़ार उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से लिया गया है।
उन्होंने बताया कि शहर को नगर निगम का दर्जा मिलने से ₹150 करोड़ की विकास योजनाएं तैयार की गई हैं। मुख्यमंत्री हमीरपुर में एक आधुनिक बस अड्डा, मेडिकल कॉलेज में कार्डियोलॉजी, न्यूरोलॉजी, नेफ्रोलॉजी, कैंसर केयर संस्थान, मातृ–शिशु अस्पताल, नर्सिंग कालेज, PET-Scan और रोबोटिक सर्जरी जैसी स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने हेतु प्रयासरत हैं।
बिट्टू ने यह भी कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री आपदा प्रभावित इलाकों का दौरा कर पीड़ित परिवारों के साथ खड़े हैं और उन्हें त्वरित सहायता सुनिश्चित करा रहे हैं।
कार्यक्रम में APMC अध्यक्ष अजय शर्मा, खोखाधारक यूनियन और महिला स्वयं सहायता समूहों की सदस्यों ने बिट्टू का अभिनंदन किया। स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों, कांग्रेस नेता सुमन भारती, राकेश रानी, महिलाओं के समूह की बहनों तथा विभिन्न सरकारी अधिकारियों ने भी शिलान्यास समारोह में सहभागिता की।
यह आयोजन यह संदेश देता है कि अगर सरकारी नेतृत्व संवेदनशील हो तो खोखाधारकों जैसे कमजोर वर्ग को देश स्तर पर एक सुनी-सुनाई आवाज़ मिल सकती है।
Bittu Inaugurates ₹35 Lakh Shops & Rural Haat for Homeless Vendors

A new milestone in regional development was achieved today when Sunil Sharma Bittu, political advisor to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, laid the foundation for shops worth ₹35 lakh and a Rural Haat intended to rehabilitate homeless street vendors. The project, located near the city bus stand, underscores the government’s commitment to marginalized livelihoods.
Bittu highlighted that Chief Minister Sukhu has truly heard the voices of the poor and disenfranchised. These vendors, previously displaced, are now being supported through permanent shop facilities. He noted that the initiative also empowers rural female SHG members by providing a platform to sell their locally-made goods in the new Rural Haat.
Following the foundation ceremony, Bittu addressed a public gathering at Rani Jhansi Park. He emphasized that the ₹150 crore development blueprint for Hamirpur, following its elevation to a municipal corporation, includes critical infrastructure: a state-of-the-art bus stand, medical college enhancements—Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology departments, a cancer care institute, maternal and child health center, nursing college, as well as PET scan and robotic surgery facilities.
He added that during recent natural disasters, Chief Minister Sukhu personally visited affected regions to provide relief and compensation promptly, showing solidarity with the suffering families.
The proposal was welcomed by APMC President Ajay Sharma, the street vendors’ union, and members of women-led SHGs. Key dignitaries included Congress leaders Suman Bharti, Rakesh Rani, several self-help group representatives, and local officials, who all attended the ceremony.
This initiative showcases how empathetic governance can amplify the voices of vulnerable communities and deliver tangible change. By focusing on rebuilding livelihoods and integrating rural artisans into the market, the state government aims to foster economic inclusion and ensure prosperity for all.
