एचपीटीडीसी के 14 सरकारी होटलों को निजी हाथों में, भाजपा का आरोप – “एचपी ऑन सेल, जनता ठगी की तैयारी”

भाजपा के पूर्व मंत्री सुखराम चौधरी, प्रवक्ता संदीपनी भारद्वाज, अजय राणा, राकेश शर्मा ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर आरोप लगाया कि हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार और कैबिनेट-रैंक के एचपीटीडीसी अध्यक्ष एक बड़ी धोखाधड़ी में संलिप्त हैं। उनका कहना है कि सरकार ने 28 जून से 10 जुलाई के बीच कैबिनेट की मंजूरी के बावजूद जनता को जानकारी नहीं दी।
भाजपा ने यह आरोप भी लगाया कि एचपी ऑन सेल का दौर चल रहा है — 14 सरकारी होटलों के संचालन एवं रख-रखाव को निजी कंपनियों को सौंपने की तैयारी की जा रही है। पार्टी का कहना है कि यह घोर भ्रष्टाचार और पटाक्षेप की पटकथा लिखी जा रही है।
भाजपा प्रवक्ता ने कहा, “सरकार उन दिनो कह रही थी कि होटल घाटे में हैं। जब राजस्व बढ़ा और हालत सुधरी, तब इन होटलों को बेचा जा रहा है। यह स्पष्ट संकेत है कि सरकार ने मुनाफे का झांसा देकर प्राइवेट हाथों में सौंपने की योजना बनाई है।”
भाजपा का कहना है कि नवंबर 2024 में हाईकोर्ट ने घाटे के नाम पर 18 होटलों को “सफेद हाथी” कहकर सुधार या बंद करने का आदेश दिया था। लेकिन भाजपा नेताओं का आरोप है कि यह सब बस ढाल था और असल में यह योजना पहले से बनायी गई थी। पार्टी ने कहा कि होटलों पर आरएस बाली की नियुक्तियों पर भी सवाल उठाए थे, जहां70 से ज्यादा लोगों को तैनात किया गया था।
भाजपा ने इस निजीकरण को एक “नीलामी स्क्रिप्ट” करार दिया, जिसमें कुछ खास कंपनियों को फायदा पहुंचाया जाना तय है। उन्होंने सूची जारी करते हुए कहा कि इन होटलों में शामिल हैं: होटल हिलटॉप (स्वारघाट), लेक व्यू (बिलासपुर), भागल, एप्पल ब्लॉसम (फागू), शिवालिक (परवाणू), गिरीगंगा (खड़ा पत्थर), ममलेश्वर (चंडी) इत्यादि, और कश्मीर हाउस (धर्मशाला) भी शामिल है, जिसका निजीकरण सबसे बड़ा विवाद है।
भाजपा ने चेतावनी दी है, “सरकार घाटे के बहाने सरकारी संपत्ति को निजी हाथों में दे रही है, इससे पुराने कर्मचारी बेरोजगार हो सकते हैं। जब राजस्व बढ़ रहा था, तब निजीकरण की क्या जरूरत?”
पार्टी ने मांग की है कि यह फैसला तुरंत रद्द किया जाए, और ट्रांसपेरेंसी के साथ एक लोक सुनवाई करवाई जाए।
BJP Accuses HP Government of “Selling Off” HPTDC Hotels in Public Deception
Shimla, July 12:
BJP leaders, including former minister Sukhram Choudhary and spokespersons Sandipni Bhardwaj, Ajay Rana, and Rakesh Sharma, held a press conference accusing the Himachal Pradesh government and the Cabinet-rank HPTDC chairman of orchestrating a major scam by privatizing 14 government-owned hotels without public knowledge between June 28 and July 10.
The BJP alleges that the privatization move is part of an orchestrated “HP On Sale” operation, meant to benefit private entities at the expense of public interest. “This is blatant corruption and betrayal,” they said, questioning why hotels were privatized when they were reportedly moving from losses to profitability.
According to BJP, the November 2024 High Court order described 18 HPTDC properties as “white elephants” and permitted either their closure or restructuring. The BJP contends this was a prelude to this sell-off strategy. They also criticized appointments made by former chairman R. S. Bali, who allegedly placed over 70 individuals—without proper qualifications—in these hotels to facilitate the privatization agenda.
Highlighting the lack of transparency, BJP stated that even the Cabinet-rank chairman seemed unaware of the privatization, casting doubts on the official process. They termed it a clandestine auction likely pre-arranged for select private interests.
The list of properties includes key tourism assets: Hotel Hilltop (Swarghat), Lake View (Bilaspur), Baghal, Apple Blossom (Fagu), Shivalik (Parwanoo), Giriganga (Khara Pathar), Mamleshwar (Chandi), Chashal (Rohroo), Old Ross Common (Kasauli), Sarvari (Kullu), Uhl (Jogindernagar), Tourist Inn (Rajgarh), and notably, Kashmir House (Dharamshala).
The BJP emphasized that government employees engaged in hotel management could lose jobs and questioned the irrational timing of privatization. They called the move an “auction-script” masked as loss-cutting.
