आपदा में इंसानियत की मिसाल: थुनाग में सर्व कल्याणकारी ट्रस्ट ने बंटवाई राहत सामग्री, पीड़ितों में जगी नई उम्मीद

मंडी जिले के सिराज विधानसभा क्षेत्र की थुनाग घाटी में हाल ही में भारी बारिश और बादल फटने से आई प्राकृतिक आपदा ने जनजीवन को पूरी तरह अस्त-व्यस्त कर दिया। कई घर पूरी तरह जमींदोज हो गए, खेत-खलिहान मलबे में दब गए और पीड़ित परिवार खुले आसमान के नीचे जीवन व्यतीत करने को विवश हो गए।
ऐसे विकट समय में सर्व कल्याणकारी ट्रस्ट एक उम्मीद की डोर बनकर सामने आया। ट्रस्ट के संस्थापक व पूर्व विधायक राजेंद्र राणा, अध्यक्ष अभिषेक राणा, हमीरपुर अध्यक्ष लेखराज ठाकुर, मंडल अध्यक्ष जसवंत सिंह, विक्रम राणा और अन्य पदाधिकारी राहत सामग्री के साथ थुनाग पहुंचे।
ट्रस्ट ने इस दौरान 250 तिरपालें और 120 किचन किटें वितरित कीं। इन किटों में आवश्यक बर्तन, स्टोव और खाना पकाने से जुड़ी वस्तुएं शामिल थीं। इस पहल ने न केवल पीड़ितों को तत्काल राहत पहुंचाई, बल्कि उन्हें यह भरोसा भी दिया कि इस संकट की घड़ी में वे अकेले नहीं हैं।
इस मौके पर ट्रस्ट पदाधिकारियों की मुलाकात पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर और उनकी धर्मपत्नी साधना ठाकुर से भी हुई। जयराम ठाकुर ने कहा, “हमने सिराज को वर्षों की मेहनत से संवारा था, लेकिन अब यह आपदा हमारे विकास कार्यों पर गहरा आघात है। हमें इसे फिर से दोगुनी ताकत से खड़ा करना होगा।”
राजेंद्र राणा ने कहा कि “सर्व कल्याणकारी ट्रस्ट” का हर सदस्य इस कठिन समय में प्रभावित लोगों के साथ है और जरूरत पड़ी तो और अधिक मदद भी भेजी जाएगी। उन्होंने अन्य सामाजिक संस्थाओं और आम जनता से भी सहायता के लिए आगे आने की अपील की।
अभिषेक राणा ने कहा कि ट्रस्ट हमेशा मानवता की सेवा के लिए प्रतिबद्ध रहा है और आने वाले दिनों में भी इसी निष्ठा के साथ काम करता रहेगा।
ट्रस्ट का यह कार्य न केवल एक सेवा भावना का प्रतीक है, बल्कि यह भी दर्शाता है कि जब प्राकृतिक आपदाएं सब कुछ उजाड़ देती हैं, तब इंसानियत की एक किरण भी जीवन में नई उम्मीद जगा सकती है।
Hope Amidst Havoc: Sarv Kalyankari Trust Delivers Relief in Thunag, Mandi

In the wake of the devastating rains and cloudburst that hit Thunag area in Seraj constituency, numerous families have lost homes, farmlands, and belongings, leaving them under open skies. Amid this catastrophe, the Sarv Kalyankari Trust emerged as a beacon of hope, delivering timely relief to affected families.
Led by former Sujanpur MLA Rajendra Rana, Trust President Abhishek Rana, and key members like Lekhraj Thakur, Jaswant Singh, and Vikram Rana, the team reached Thunag with essential relief material.
The Trust distributed 250 tarpaulin sheets and 120 kitchen kits, which included cooking vessels, stoves, and basic utensils. These supplies brought immediate respite to the homeless and rekindled a sense of hope and solidarity.
During the visit, the Trust team also met former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and his wife Sadhna Thakur. Jai Ram Thakur expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and emphasized the need to rebuild Seraj with twice the strength and determination. “We’ve developed Seraj over decades; now we must stand up again with resilience,” he stated.
Rajendra Rana reiterated the Trust’s commitment to standing by the disaster-hit families. “If needed, more relief material will be sent. I urge all individuals and social organizations to come forward in this hour of need,” he said.
Abhishek Rana, President of the Trust, added that humanitarian service has always been the Trust’s guiding principle, and they will continue to serve in future crises as well.
The initiative by the Trust serves as a reminder that in times of disaster, empathy and action are the greatest gifts one can offer. While nature’s fury may dismantle homes, a compassionate hand can help rebuild lives.
