बीबीएन, 13 जुलाई — सामाजिक संगठन श्रीराम सेना के नेतृत्व में बद्दी-नालागढ़ फोरलेन की दुर्दशा को लेकर आज बद्दी में रोष रैली निकाली गई। नेशनल हाईवे अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया (NHAI) और केंद्रीय सड़क मंत्री नितिन गडकरी के पुतले फूंके गए।
प्रदर्शन का आयोजन मोतिया प्लाजा में शुरू हुआ, जहां से सैंकड़ों लोग बैनर, पोस्टर और जमकर नारों के साथ फलाईओवर चौंक पहुंचे। उन्होंने “एनएचएआई मुर्दाबाद” और “नितिन गडकरी मुर्दाबाद” के नारे लगाए। रैली को संबोधित करते हुए श्रीराम सेना प्रांतीय संयोजक राजेश जिंदल और कार्यकारी सचिव डा. संदीप सचदेवा ने कहा कि बीते 11 वर्षों में सरकार की लापरवाही के कारण 37 किमी लंबा फोरलेन अभी तक पूरा नहीं हुआ, जिसकी वजह से उद्योग जगत को भारी आर्थिक नुकसान हो रहा है।
लघु उद्योग संघ प्रदेशाध्यक्ष अशोक राणा ने बताया कि माल समय पर नहीं पहुँच पाता, वाहनों में भी क्षति होती है। पूर्वांचल समिति अध्यक्ष हरिओम ठाकुर ने कहा कि केंद्रीय मंत्री गडकरी का “रोजाना 100 किमी सड़क” का वादा यहाँ झूठ सिद्ध हो रहा है।
प्रदर्शनकारियों ने चेतावनी दी कि यदि अगली दो माह में फोरलेन की स्थिति नहीं सुधरी तो चक्का जाम किया जाएगा। स्थानीय विधायक व पूर्व विधायक के अनुपस्थित रहने पर तीखी आलोचना की गई।
BBN, July 13 — Under the leadership of Sriram Sena, a protest rally was held today in Baddi to highlight the deplorable state of the Baddi–Nalagarh four-lane highway. Demonstrators burned effigies of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
The protest kicked off at Motia Plaza and marched to the Traffic Chowk under the flyover, with hundreds raising slogans like “NHAI murdabad” and “Nitin Gadkari murdabad”. Sriram Sena state convenor Rajesh Jindal and executive secretary Dr. Sandeep Sachdeva criticized the NHAI for leaving the 37 km highway incomplete after 11 years, causing significant losses to local industries.
Ashok Rana, President of the Small Industries Association, highlighted delays in material delivery and damage to transport vehicles. Hariom Thakur, head of Purvanchal Committee, called Minister Gadkari’s “100 km/day road building” claim a false promise in Himachal.
Protestors warned that if the highway is not improved within two months, they plan to enforce a complete blockade. The absence of local MLA and former MLA drew strong criticism.
