एक्स सर्विसमैन सैनिक लीग जिला बिलासपुर की एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक सर्किट हाउस बिलासपुर में आयोजित हुई। इस बैठक की अध्यक्षता हिमाचल प्रदेश वैटरन सैनिक कल्याण एवं विकास समिति के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष एवं सैनिक लीग बिलासपुर के अध्यक्ष वैटरन कैप्टन बालक राम शर्मा ने की।
बैठक की शुरुआत मंडी-कुल्लू क्षेत्र में हालिया आपदा में जान गंवाने वालों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए दो मिनट के मौन से की गई। इसके बाद कैप्टन बालक राम शर्मा ने भूतपूर्व सैनिकों, वीर नारियों और उनके परिवारों को मिलने वाली सुविधाओं के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी।
उन्होंने कहा कि बिलासपुर पहला जिला है जहां सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त सैनिक लीग का गठन हुआ और अब यह संगठन पूरे राज्य में विस्तार कर रहा है। उन्होंने सभी पूर्व सैनिकों से संगठन की सदस्यता लेने का आग्रह किया।
बैठक में ECHS बिलासपुर के ओआईसी कर्नल रुपिंदर चंदेल, कैप्टन रमेश कुमार, सूबेदार मेजर कुलवंत सिंह पटियाल, सूबेदार ओम प्रकाश, सूबेदार बलबीर सिंह चंदेल, वीर नारियाँ मीरा देवी और नारायणी देवी, व अन्य वरिष्ठ सैनिक व पदाधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
बैठक में सभी प्रतिभागियों से सुझाव लिए गए और अंत में चाय-जलपान के साथ बैठक का समापन किया गया।
Ex-Servicemen League Meeting Held in Bilaspur: Veteran Capt. Balak Ram Sharma

On July 13, 2025, a significant meeting of the Ex-Servicemen League, District Bilaspur was organized at the Circuit House. The session was presided over by Veteran Capt. Balak Ram Sharma, State President of the Himachal Pradesh Veteran Soldiers Welfare and Development Committee and President of the Bilaspur League.
The meeting began with a two-minute silence in honor of those who lost their lives in the recent floods in Mandi and Kullu. Capt. Sharma addressed ex-servicemen, veer naris, and their families, informing them about entitlements and benefits including DSP accounts and post-retirement schemes.
He proudly highlighted that Bilaspur is the first government-recognized district-level soldiers’ league in the state and encouraged all veterans to join and strengthen the organization.
Key attendees included Col. Rupinder Chandel (OIC ECHS Bilaspur), Capt. Ramesh Kumar, Sub Maj. Kulwant Singh Patial, Veer Naris Meera Devi and Narayani Devi, and several other officers and veterans.
The meeting concluded on a positive note with refreshments and collective discussions.
