हिमाचल प्रदेश के शिक्षा मंत्री रोहित ठाकुर 16 जुलाई, 2025 को सोलन जिला के एक दिवसीय प्रवास पर रहेंगे। अपने प्रवास के दौरान वह डॉ. वाई.एस. परमार बागवानी एवं वानिकी विश्वविद्यालय, नौणी में आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय कुराश प्रतियोगिता के उद्घाटन समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत करेंगे।
यह आयोजन सांय 03:00 बजे शुरू होगा, जिसमें प्रदेशभर से खिलाड़ी भाग लेंगे। शिक्षा मंत्री रोहित ठाकुर खिलाड़ियों को प्रेरणादायक संबोधन देंगे और प्रतियोगिता का विधिवत उद्घाटन करेंगे।
कुराश एक पारंपरिक मार्शल आर्ट खेल है, जिसे बढ़ावा देने के लिए राज्य स्तर पर यह प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की जा रही है। यह आयोजन युवा प्रतिभाओं को मंच देने और खेल संस्कृति को सुदृढ़ करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
इस दौरान शिक्षा मंत्री विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन और खेल अधिकारियों से भी बातचीत करेंगे और संस्थान की खेल सुविधाओं की समीक्षा करेंगे।
श्री ठाकुर के इस दौरे से क्षेत्रीय खेल गतिविधियों को गति मिलने की उम्मीद है।

Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur will be on a one-day visit to Solan district on July 16, 2025. During his visit, he will attend the inauguration ceremony of the State-Level Kurash Competition at Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, as the chief guest.
The event is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM, and athletes from across the state will participate in this traditional martial arts competition. Minister Thakur will address the participants and officially declare the competition open.
Kurash, a traditional sport, is being promoted in the state to encourage youth involvement in physical activities and sportsmanship.
During the visit, the Education Minister is also expected to interact with university officials and review sports infrastructure on the campus.
His visit is anticipated to bring a renewed focus on youth development through sports and provide a platform for local talent to shine.
