उपायुक्त चंबा मुकेश रेपसवाल की अध्यक्षता में प्रयोजन एवं पालन-पोषण स्वीकृति समिति तथा अपराधिक क्षति, राहत एवं पुनर्वास बोर्ड की जिला स्तरीय बैठक का आयोजन किया गया।
बैठक में उपायुक्त ने बताया कि मिशन वात्सल्य योजना के अंतर्गत वर्तमान में जिला चंबा के 76 बच्चे लाभान्वित हो रहे हैं। योजना के तहत पात्र बच्चों की पढ़ाई और पालन-पोषण के लिए परिवारों को प्रति माह ₹4,000 की आर्थिक सहायता दी जा रही है।
उपायुक्त ने निर्देश दिए कि 100 बच्चों को लाभान्वित करने के निर्धारित लक्ष्य को पूरा करने के लिए सभी अधिकारी सक्रिय रूप से प्रयास करें। उन्होंने विशेषकर अनाथ, विधवा महिलाओं के बच्चे एवं जरूरतमंद बच्चों की पहचान कर योजना से जोड़ने को प्राथमिकता देने के निर्देश दिए।
बैठक के दौरान जिला बाल संरक्षण इकाई और बाल कल्याण समिति द्वारा चयनित 13 नए बच्चों को योजना में शामिल करने की स्वीकृति प्रदान की गई।
कार्यवाही का संचालन जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी कमल किशोर शर्मा ने किया। बैठक में उप पुलिस अधीक्षक जितेंद्र चौधरी, तहसील कल्याण अधिकारी अक्षय कुमार, बाल संरक्षण इकाई, और बाल कल्याण समिति चंबा के अन्य सदस्य उपस्थित रहे।

A district-level meeting of the Foster Care Approval Committee and Criminal Damages, Relief, and Rehabilitation Board was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal in Chamba.
The DC informed that under the Mission Vatsalya Scheme, 76 children across the district are currently receiving monthly assistance of ₹4,000 for education and care.
He emphasized achieving the target of enrolling 100 children and directed officials to take effective steps to identify and support more orphans, children of widows, and underprivileged families under the scheme.
During the meeting, 13 new children recommended by the District Child Protection Unit and Child Welfare Committee were given final approval for benefits.
The meeting proceedings were coordinated by District Program Officer Kamal Kishore Sharma. Among the key attendees were DSP Jitendra Chaudhary, Welfare Officer Akshay Kumar, and various members of the Child Protection and Welfare Committees of Chamba.
