आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में राहत कार्य तेज़ी से जारी: डॉ. मदन कुमार
मंडी, 15 जुलाई।
मंडी जिला में 30 जून व 1 जुलाई की मध्य रात्रि को आई भारी बारिश व बादल फटने की घटनाओं के बाद उत्पन्न हुई आपदा की स्थिति से निपटने के लिए जिला प्रशासन युद्धस्तर पर राहत और पुनर्वास कार्य कर रहा है। अतिरिक्त जिला दंडाधिकारी डॉ. मदन कुमार ने बताया कि प्रभावित परिवारों को तात्कालिक रूप से सूखा राशन, तिरपाल, दवाइयां, पीने का पानी और अन्य आवश्यक वस्तुएं वितरित की जा चुकी हैं।
उन्होंने बताया कि अब तक 3,657 राशन किट, 6,659 तिरपाल, 1,175 कंबल, 401 गद्दे, 90 हाइजीन किट, 880 पानी की बोतलें व 73 किचन सेट प्रभावितों को वितरित किए गए हैं। इसके साथ ही, स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने आपातकालीन चिकित्सा किट, दवाइयां और इंजेक्शन भी संबंधित चिकित्सा केंद्रों को भेजे हैं।
डॉ. कुमार ने कहा कि सड़कों की बहाली, बिजली और पानी आपूर्ति को पुनर्स्थापित करने के लिए विभागीय मशीनरी पूर्ण प्रयास में जुटी हुई है। मंडी जिले में अभी भी 158 सड़कें, 88 ट्रांसफार्मर और 133 पेयजल योजनाएं प्रभावित हैं, जिन्हें जल्द ही बहाल किया जाएगा।
Disaster Relief Work Gains Pace in Mandi: ADM Dr. Madan Kumar
Mandi, July 15:
In the aftermath of the devastating cloudbursts and torrential rains on the night of June 30 and July 1, the Mandi district administration has accelerated relief and rehabilitation efforts to restore normalcy in disaster-hit areas.
Additional District Magistrate Dr. Madan Kumar informed that immediate support in the form of dry rations, tarpaulins, drinking water, medicines, and essential items has been provided to affected families. Temporary shelters have been set up with access to food, clean water, and medical services.
Till July 14, the administration has distributed 3,657 ration kits, 6,659 tarpaulins, 1,175 blankets, 401 mattresses, 90 hygiene kits, 880 water bottles, and 73 kitchen sets. The health department has supplied 3 emergency medical kits and 62 boxes of medicines to centers in Janjehli, Bagsyad, and Karsog.
Dr. Kumar added that 158 roads, 88 electricity transformers, and 133 drinking water schemes remain affected. PWD teams with machinery are working at full capacity to restore access and utilities at the earliest.
