स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने सराज के आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में राहत एवं पुनर्वास कार्यों का लिया जायजा, प्रभावितों से मिले, हरसंभव मदद की जताई प्रतिबद्धता
मंडी, 15 जुलाई।
हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार के स्वास्थ्य, सामाजिक न्याय एवं सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री डॉ. (कर्नल) धनीराम शांडिल ने मंडी जिले के सराज विधानसभा क्षेत्र में हाल ही में आई प्राकृतिक आपदा से प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का दौरा किया। उन्होंने बगस्याड़, थुनाग और जंजैहली क्षेत्रों में आपदा राहत एवं पुनर्वास कार्यों की समीक्षा की और पीड़ितों से मुलाकात कर राज्य सरकार की ओर से हरसंभव सहायता का आश्वासन दिया।
उन्होंने बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू के नेतृत्व में राज्य सरकार ने सराज क्षेत्र के लिए ₹7 करोड़ की तत्काल राहत राशि जारी की है। बेघर हुए परिवारों को ₹7 लाख गृह निर्माण सहायता और ₹5000 प्रति माह किराया दिया जाएगा।
स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा अब तक 13,353 लोगों की जांच और 5527 को दवाइयां वितरित की गई हैं। तीन आपातकालीन चिकित्सा किट, 62 दवा बॉक्स और इंजेक्शन संबंधित अस्पतालों को भेजे गए हैं। जलजनित रोगों से बचाव के लिए ORS पैकेट व क्लोरीन की गोलियां भी वितरित की जा रही हैं।
जल शक्ति विभाग की 241 योजनाओं में से 167 अस्थायी रूप से शुरू कर दी गई हैं और 339 हैंडपंप चालू कर लोगों को स्वच्छ जल उपलब्ध करवाया जा रहा है।
Health Minister Visits Disaster-Hit Areas of Seraj, Assures Support

Health, Social Justice & Sainik Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil visited flood-affected areas of Seraj constituency in Mandi to assess damage and oversee ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts. He assured full support from the Himachal Pradesh government to affected families.
Under the leadership of CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, ₹7 crore has been released for Seraj. Homeless families will receive ₹7 lakh for house reconstruction and ₹5,000/month for rent. Damage to household goods and livestock will also be compensated.
Dr. Shandil informed that 13,353 people have undergone medical checkups, and 5,527 have received essential medicines. Emergency medical kits and 62 boxes of medicines were dispatched to local hospitals. ORS packets and chlorine tablets are being distributed to prevent waterborne diseases.
Out of 241 damaged drinking water schemes, 167 have been temporarily restored and 339 hand pumps are operational to ensure clean water supply. The government is working on a war footing to restore roads, electricity, and water supply services.
