ऊना, 17 जुलाई। हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार की प्राकृतिक खेती योजना को जिला ऊना में ज़मीन पर व्यापक समर्थन मिल रहा है। जिले के 16,858 किसानों ने अब तक प्राकृतिक खेती को अपनाया है, जिससे उनकी आय में वृद्धि और खेती की लागत में उल्लेखनीय गिरावट दर्ज की गई है।
आत्मा परियोजना निदेशक वीरेंद्र बग्गा के अनुसार, बीते सीजन में 39 किसानों से 41.66 मीट्रिक टन गेहूं और 15 किसानों से 11.15 मीट्रिक टन मक्की खरीदी गई। सरकार ने गेहूं के लिए 60 रुपये/किग्रा और मक्की के लिए 40 रुपये/किग्रा एमएसपी तय किया है। कुल ₹25.83 लाख की राशि गेहूं के लिए और ₹3.34 लाख मक्की के लिए सीधे किसानों के खाते में भेजी गई।
सरकार ‘हिम भोग’ ब्रांड के माध्यम से प्राकृतिक अनाज आमजन तक पहुंचा रही है। किसानों को देसी गाय, प्लास्टिक ड्रम, साइकल हल, गाय शेड आदि के लिए भी 75-80% तक की सब्सिडी मिल रही है। अब तक 2092 हेक्टेयर भूमि पर प्राकृतिक खेती की जा रही है।
उपायुक्त जतिन लाल ने किसानों से प्राकृतिक खेती को अपनाने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि यह विधि पर्यावरण, स्वास्थ्य और आय के लिए अत्यंत लाभकारी है।
Una, July 17: The Himachal Pradesh Government’s initiative to promote natural farming has received remarkable grassroots support in Una district, with over 16,858 farmers actively adopting the practice. This shift has helped farmers reduce input costs and increase their income significantly.
According to ATMA Project Director Virendra Bagga, the government procured 41.66 metric tonnes of wheat from 39 farmers and 11.15 metric tonnes of maize from 15 farmers in the last season. The Minimum Support Price (MSP) is set at ₹60/kg for wheat and ₹40/kg for maize, with direct payments worth ₹25.83 lakh and ₹3.34 lakh, respectively, credited to farmers’ bank accounts.
Natural produce is also reaching the public through the ‘Him Bhog’ brand, now available in fair price shops. Farmers are further supported with subsidies on indigenous cows, plastic drums, cycle ploughs, and cow-shed flooring under the initiative.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal urged farmers to embrace natural farming, citing benefits to soil health, human health, and sustainable income generation.
