स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण विभाग जुन्गा के सौजन्य से क्षेत्र के विभिन्न स्कूलों में सफल टीकाकरण अभियान चलाया गया। सिविल अस्पताल जुन्गा के चिकित्सक प्रभारी डॉ. मनोज वर्मा ने जानकारी दी कि राजकीय प्राथमिक पाठशाला नागरी, पैंदली और मिडल स्कूल पैंदली में बच्चों को डीपीटी व टीडी बूस्टर डोज दी गई।
उन्होंने बताया कि यह अभियान जुन्गा तहसील के सभी स्कूलों में चरणबद्ध तरीके से आयोजित किया जा रहा है ताकि बच्चों को विभिन्न बीमारियों से सुरक्षित रखा जा सके। टीकाकरण के साथ-साथ महिलाओं और किशोरियों को मासिक धर्म, व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता, पोषण, संतुलित आहार और जलजनित रोगों से बचाव के बारे में भी जागरूक किया गया।
बच्चों को नशे के दुष्प्रभाव, विशेषकर तंबाकू से होने वाले नुकसान के बारे में भी बताया गया। इस अभियान में डॉ. प्रियंका, सीएचओ पूनम, एनडीके काउंसलर प्रवीण, और आशा वर्कर अंजना सेन व अंजू ने अपनी सेवाएं दीं। डॉ. मनोज ने सभी विद्यालयों में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए टीम का आभार व्यक्त किया।

A widespread school vaccination campaign was successfully conducted across the Junga region under the aegis of the Health and Family Welfare Department. Dr. Manoj Verma, Medical Officer In-Charge of Civil Hospital Junga, informed that DPT and TD booster doses were administered to children at Government Primary Schools Nagri and Paindli, and Middle School Paindli.
The campaign is being carried out in a phased manner across all schools in Junga Tehsil to ensure protection of children from various diseases. Alongside vaccination, awareness sessions were also organized focusing on menstrual hygiene, myths in rural areas, personal cleanliness, nutrition, balanced diet, and prevention of waterborne diseases during the monsoon.
Students were also educated on the harmful effects of substance abuse, especially tobacco. The vaccination team included Dr. Priyanka, CHO Poonam, NDK Counselor Praveen, and ASHA workers Anjana Sen and Anju, who played a vital role in the success of the program. Dr. Manoj expressed gratitude to the team for their dedication and service.
