मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने प्रदेश में रोबोटिक सर्जरी सेवाएं शुरू करने की घोषणा करते हुए विशेषज्ञ रोबोटिक सर्जनों की भर्ती प्रक्रिया शीघ्र शुरू करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने शुक्रवार शाम को स्वास्थ्य विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक में यह बात कही।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह सेवाएं शुरू होने से हिमाचल प्रदेश के नागरिकों को एम्स दिल्ली जैसी उन्नत स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं अपने राज्य में ही उपलब्ध होंगी। चमियाना स्थित अटल मेडिकल सुपर स्पेशलिटी इंस्टीट्यूट और टांडा मेडिकल कॉलेज में रोबोटिक सर्जिकल सिस्टम स्थापित किया जाएगा। साथ ही हमीरपुर व आईजीएमसी शिमला में भी यह तकनीक जल्द स्थापित होगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि राज्य में 100 नए चिकित्सा अधिकारियों की भर्ती की जाएगी और 50 अतिरिक्त नर्सें चमियाना संस्थान में तैनात होंगी। इसके अलावा ऑपरेशन थियेटर सहायकों, रेडियोग्राफरों और तकनीकी स्टाफ के मानदेय में भी वृद्धि की गई है।
राज्य सरकार ने 23 वर्षों में पहली बार पैरामेडिकल कोर्सों की सीटें बढ़ाई हैं। इससे स्थानीय युवाओं को व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण के लिए बाहर नहीं जाना पड़ेगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र को अत्याधुनिक और जन-हितैषी बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced the imminent commencement of robotic surgery services in Himachal Pradesh, stating that the recruitment of specialist robotic surgeons will begin soon. The decision was made during a review meeting of the Health Department held on Friday evening.
The government aims to bring AIIMS-level advanced medical services to citizens through the Atal Institute of Medical Super Speciality in Chamiana and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College, Tanda. Robotic surgical systems will also be installed at Hamirpur Medical College and IGMC Shimla.
To strengthen healthcare infrastructure, 100 new medical officers and 50 additional nurses will be recruited. The government has also increased the honorarium for OT assistants and radiology staff.
After 23 years, the intake capacity for paramedical courses has been expanded to help local youth access vocational education within the state. The CM reaffirmed the government’s commitment to delivering modern, high-quality healthcare to every citizen.
