सुंदरनगर। कृषि प्रौद्योगिकी प्रबंधन अभिकरण (आत्मा) मंडी द्वारा सुंदरनगर ब्लॉक की ग्राम पंचायत सेरी कोठी और मलोह के किसानों के लिए एक दिवसीय कृषक भ्रमण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम का नेतृत्व परियोजना निदेशक डॉ. राकेश पटियाल ने किया, जिसमें करीब 70 किसानों ने भाग लिया।
यह भ्रमण कार्यक्रम भारतीय प्राकृतिक कृषि पद्धति के अंतर्गत रखा गया था, जिसमें किसानों को जिला बिलासपुर के प्राकृतिक खेती के प्रदर्शन प्लॉट्स का अवलोकन करवाया गया। भ्रमण के दौरान कृषि विभाग के विशेषज्ञों ने किसानों को प्राकृतिक खेती की आधुनिक तकनीकों, लाभों और पर्यावरणीय महत्त्व की विस्तृत जानकारी दी।
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि प्राकृतिक खेती से न केवल फसल की गुणवत्ता बेहतर होती है बल्कि लागत भी कम आती है। मल्चिंग, जैविक खाद, जल संरक्षण व कीट नियंत्रण जैसी तकनीकों से किसानों को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने में सहायता मिलती है।
इस अवसर पर बिलासपुर और सुंदरनगर के किसानों ने मिलकर विचार-विमर्श किया और अपने अनुभव साझा किए। कार्यक्रम में मंडी जिला के उप परियोजना निदेशक डॉ. हितेन्दर ठाकुर, डॉ. संजय कुमार, व खंड तकनीकी प्रबंधक लेखराज विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहे। इस तरह के कार्यक्रम किसानों में जागरूकता बढ़ाने और व्यवहारिक जानकारी देने में अत्यंत उपयोगी सिद्ध हो रहे हैं।
Sundernagar: An exposure visit was organized by the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Mandi, under the leadership of Project Director Dr. Rakesh Patial, for farmers from Seri Kothi and Maloh Panchayats of Sundernagar Block. Around 70 farmers participated in this field visit.
The program focused on Indian Natural Farming Practices. The visiting farmers observed demonstration plots of natural farming in the Bilaspur district. Agricultural experts encouraged the farmers to adopt natural farming techniques and explained its economic and ecological benefits.
Officials emphasized that natural farming ensures nutrient-rich crops, soil fertility improvement, water conservation through mulching and bio-techniques, pest control, and high returns at low cost.
Farmers from Bilaspur and Sundernagar exchanged their views on organic crop cultivation and shared experiences.
Key dignitaries present included Deputy Project Director Dr. Hitender Thakur, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, and Block Technical Manager Lekhraj. Such initiatives offer practical exposure and inspire more farmers to embrace sustainable agriculture.
