द्रोणाचार्य कॉलेज में कारगिल विजय दिवस पर कार्यक्रम
शाहपुर, 26 जुलाई।
रोटरी क्लब शाहपुर ने कारगिल विजय दिवस के अवसर पर द्रोणाचार्य कॉलेज, रैत में एक भावनात्मक व देशभक्ति से परिपूर्ण समारोह का आयोजन किया। इस अवसर पर ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के वीर शहीद सूबेदार मेजर पवन कुमार की पत्नी सुषमा देवी और पिता गर्द सिंह को सम्मानित किया गया। उन्हें मेजर क्षितिजा और इंजीनियर आशीष चंबियाल द्वारा श्रद्धांजलि स्वरूप स्मृति चिह्न भेंट किए गए।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता क्लब अध्यक्ष रोटेरियन सत्येंद्र गौतम ने की। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन हमें शहीदों की अमर गाथा की याद दिलाते हैं और युवाओं में देशभक्ति की भावना को सशक्त करते हैं।
मुख्य वक्ता मेजर क्षितिजा ने कहा कि भारतीय सैनिकों की बलिदान भावना धर्म के समान है और कैप्टन विक्रम बत्रा जैसे वीर शहीदों को राष्ट्र कभी नहीं भुला सकता। उन्होंने युवाओं से देश सेवा की प्रेरणा लेने का आह्वान किया।
इस अवसर पर रोटरी क्लब के सहायक गवर्नर रोटेरियन राजेश राणा, पूर्व अध्यक्ष नरेश लगवाल, सचिव प्रदीप बलौरिया, वरिष्ठ रोटेरियंस और रोटरेक्ट क्लब रैत के सदस्य बड़ी संख्या में मौजूद रहे।
कार्यक्रम में देशभक्ति गीतों और श्रद्धांजलि प्रस्तुतियों ने समां बांध दिया। समापन पर शहीद परिवार के बलिदान को अमूल्य बताते हुए सभी ने उनके प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त की।
Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrated at Dronacharya College

Rotary Club Shahpur organized a heartfelt event at Dronacharya College, Rait to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas. The event paid tribute to the bravery of Martyr Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, with special honours presented to his wife Sushma Devi and father Gard Singh by Major Kshitija and Engineer Ashish Chambiyal.
The program was presided over by Rotarian Satyendra Gautam, who emphasized the significance of remembering martyrs’ sacrifices and inspiring the youth with their stories.
Keynote speaker Major Kshitija expressed that Indian soldiers’ sacrifice is akin to religion and said that the nation is eternally indebted to heroes like Captain Vikram Batra who reclaimed every inch of the nation’s land with valour.
The event witnessed participation from Assistant Governor Rotarian Rajesh Rana, former President Naresh Lagwal, Secretary Pradeep Balauria, senior Rotarians, and members of the Rotaract Club Rait.
Patriotic songs and tribute performances added emotional depth to the event, which concluded with heartfelt thanks to the martyr’s family, acknowledging their immense contribution to the nation.
