सेब उत्पादकों के हितों के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है सरकार: मुख्यमंत्री सुक्खू
शिमला, 29 जुलाई। मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार सेब उत्पादकों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए पूरी तरह से प्रतिबद्ध है। आज यहां पूर्व विधायक राकेश सिंघा के नेतृत्व में आए सेब उत्पादक संघ के प्रतिनिधिमंडल से मुलाकात के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने यह बात कही।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार किसानों और बागवानों की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए लगातार प्रयासरत है। सरकार ने सेब उत्पादकों को राहत दिलाने हेतु पहले ही सर्वोच्च न्यायालय का दरवाजा खटखटाया है और कोर्ट के आदेश के बाद किसी भी पेड़ को काटने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी।
उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि करसोग और कुल्लू घाटी में हुई कथित कटान की जांच के निर्देश दिए जा चुके हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस मुद्दे को वे केंद्रीय पर्यावरण मंत्री के समक्ष भी प्रभावी ढंग से उठाएंगे ताकि वन नीति में ढील मिल सके।
आपदा प्रभावित भूमिहीन परिवारों के पुनर्वास के लिए केंद्र से एक से पांच बीघा भूमि आबंटन की मांग की गई है। मुख्यमंत्री ने भाजपा सांसदों से भी केंद्र के समक्ष हिमाचल के हितों को प्रभावी ढंग से रखने का अनुरोध किया है।
इस अवसर पर राजस्व मंत्री जगत सिंह नेगी, पूर्व महापौर संजय चौहान और डॉ. कुलदीप सिंह तंवर भी उपस्थित रहे।
State Government Fully Committed to Apple Growers’ Welfare: CM Sukhu
Shimla, July 29. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assured a delegation of the Apple Growers’ Association, led by former MLA Rakesh Singha, that the state government is committed to protecting the interests of horticulturists.
The CM stated that the government has already approached the Supreme Court to safeguard apple orchards, ensuring that no trees are felled under court orders.
He emphasized that the reported tree cutting in Karsog and Kullu valley would be thoroughly investigated. The Chief Minister said he would also take up the issue with the Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, seeking policy amendments to protect orchardists.
The state has requested the Centre to allocate 1 to 5 bighas of land to disaster-affected landless families. CM Sukhu has also urged BJP MPs to raise the matter effectively in Parliament.
Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi assured full support to the growers and said relief could be considered under the Forest Rights Act, 2006, similar to Pong Dam oustees.
