चंबा, 4 अगस्त। ऐतिहासिक चंबा चौगान में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मिंजर मेला-2025 का समापन समारोह रविवार को भव्यता के साथ सम्पन्न हुआ। विधानसभा अध्यक्ष कुलदीप सिंह पठानिया ने इस समारोह की अध्यक्षता की तथा मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू की ओर से 785 करोड़ 32 लाख रुपये की 37 विकासात्मक परियोजनाओं का लोकार्पण और शिलान्यास किया।
समारोह के दौरान विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने मिंजर मेला खेलकूद प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेताओं को पुरस्कार भी प्रदान किए। उन्होंने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री का दौरा मौसम के कारण स्थगित हुआ है, परंतु उनकी ओर से मेला समापन की सभी औपचारिकताएं संपन्न की गईं।
कुलदीप सिंह पठानिया ने कहा कि वर्तमान राज्य सरकार के कार्यकाल में चंबा ज़िले में विभिन्न योजनाओं के अंतर्गत 1500 करोड़ रुपये व्यय किए गए हैं। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि चंबा-चुवाड़ी टनल जैसी परियोजनाएं न केवल विकास बल्कि सामरिक दृष्टि से भी अहम हैं।
उन्होंने सरकार की सामाजिक सुरक्षा योजनाओं, विशेषकर अनुकंपा के तहत सरकारी नौकरी में पात्रता की आय सीमा बढ़ाकर 3 लाख करने के निर्णय को जनहितैषी बताया।
कार्यक्रम में विधायक नीरज नैय्यर, उपायुक्त मुकेश रेपसवाल, पुलिस अधीक्षक अभिषेक यादव सहित अनेक गणमान्य व्यक्तियों की उपस्थिति रही।

The closing ceremony of the International Minjar Mela-2025 was held with grandeur at the historic Chaugan in Chamba. Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, Kuldeep Singh Pathania, presided over the event and inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 37 development projects worth ₹785.32 crore on behalf of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
During the ceremony, the Speaker also distributed awards to the winners of Minjar Mela sports competitions. He informed that the Chief Minister could not attend due to inclement weather but had authorized him to officiate the event.
Shri Pathania highlighted that ₹1500 crore has been spent in the Chamba district during the current government’s tenure on various schemes. He stressed the strategic and developmental importance of projects like the Chamba-Chowari Tunnel.
He also welcomed the government’s decision to raise the income eligibility for compassionate appointments to ₹3 lakh annually, which will benefit around 6,000 youth.
MLA Neeraj Nayyar, Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal, SP Abhishek Yadav, and other dignitaries were also present at the event.
