हमीरपुर, 9 अगस्त 2025। भाजपा जिला अध्यक्ष राकेश ठाकुर ने कांग्रेस नेताओं द्वारा भारतीय चुनाव आयोग (ECI) पर लगाए गए आरोपों को पूरी तरह निराधार बताते हुए कहा कि यह कदम पार्टी के घटते जनसमर्थन की हताशा का परिणाम है। ठाकुर ने कहा कि कांग्रेस को संवैधानिक संस्थाओं की ईमानदारी पर सवाल उठाने से पहले अपने 65 साल के शासन में जनता को दिए योगदान पर आत्मचिंतन करना चाहिए।
उन्होंने याद दिलाया कि 2022 के विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस ने केवल 37,974 वोटों के अंतर से 40 सीटें जीती थीं, जो आगामी 2027 के चुनावों के लिए उनकी बेचैनी का कारण है। ठाकुर ने आरोप लगाया कि पिछले ढाई वर्षों में कांग्रेस का शासन विफल रहा है, और अपनी नाकामियों से ध्यान हटाने के लिए कांग्रेस चुनाव आयोग पर झूठे आरोप लगा रही है।
उन्होंने कांग्रेस के “वोट चोरी” के दावों का खंडन करते हुए कहा कि 2009 के आम चुनावों में कांग्रेस ने सत्ता में रहते हुए 24 सीटें 10,000 से कम वोटों के अंतर से जीती थीं। ठाकुर ने कहा कि भाजपा को संवैधानिक संस्थाओं पर पूरा भरोसा है और वह कांग्रेस की भ्रामक राजनीति का पर्दाफाश करती रहेगी।

BJP District President Rakesh Thakur strongly criticized Congress leaders for making baseless allegations against the Election Commission of India (ECI), calling it a desperate move due to the party’s dwindling public support. Thakur stated that before questioning the integrity of constitutional bodies, Congress should reflect on what it delivered to the public in its 65 years of rule.
He reminded that in the 2022 Assembly elections, Congress won 40 seats with a narrow margin of just 37,974 votes, which is now fueling their anxiety for the 2027 polls. Thakur alleged that Congress’s governance over the past two and a half years has failed, and to divert attention from its failures, it is targeting the ECI with false claims.
Countering Congress’s claims of “vote theft,” Thakur pointed out that in the 2009 general elections, Congress, while in power, won 24 seats with margins under 10,000 votes. He affirmed that the BJP has full faith in constitutional institutions and will continue to expose Congress’s misleading tactics.
