कुल्लू, 23 अगस्त – बहुउद्देश्यीय भवन में आज वन अधिकार अधिनियम 2006 के प्रावधानों पर एक दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इस शिविर की अध्यक्षता एसडीएम आनी लक्ष्मण कनेट ने की।
प्रशिक्षण का मुख्य उद्देश्य ग्रामीण जनता, जनप्रतिनिधियों और वनाधिकार समितियों के सदस्यों को अधिनियम से जुड़े अधिकारों और प्रावधानों के प्रति जागरूक करना था। विशेषज्ञों ने प्रतिभागियों को वन भूमि पर व्यक्तिगत एवं सामुदायिक अधिकार, सामुदायिक वन संरक्षण, पारंपरिक वनवासियों के अधिकार, ग्राम सभा की भूमिका और दावों की प्रक्रिया के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी।
उपमंडलाधिकारी लक्ष्मण कनेट ने कहा कि वनाधिकार अधिनियम से वनवासियों को सशक्त बनाने और उनके जीवन स्तर को बेहतर करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम बढ़ाया गया है। उन्होंने प्रतिभागियों से आग्रह किया कि वे अधिनियम के अंतर्गत दिए गए अधिकारों का सही और पारदर्शी उपयोग करें।
शिविर में जिला पंचायत अधिकारी डी. आर. ठाकुर सहित नग्गर, कुल्लू और भुंतर ब्लॉक के पंचायत सचिव, पटवारी, वन रक्षक एवं विभागीय अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
Kullu, August 23 – A one-day training camp on the provisions of the Forest Rights Act 2006 was organized today at the Multipurpose Hall under the chairmanship of SDM Ani, Mr. Laxman Kanet.
The primary objective of the training was to make rural residents, public representatives, and Forest Rights Committee members aware of their rights and provisions under the Act. Experts shared detailed information about individual and community rights over forest land, community forest conservation, traditional forest dwellers’ rights, the role of Gram Sabhas, and the process of claim settlement.
Addressing the participants, SDM Laxman Kanet said that the Forest Rights Act has paved the way to empower forest dwellers and improve their standard of living. He urged participants to use their rights under the Act responsibly and transparently.
The camp was attended by District Panchayat Officer D.R. Thakur along with Panchayat Secretaries, Patwaris, Forest Guards, and departmental officials from Naggar, Kullu, and Bhuntar blocks.
