हिमाचल प्रदेश के उप मुख्यमंत्री मुकेश अग्निहोत्री ने शनिवार को विश्वप्रसिद्ध माता श्री चिंतपूर्णी मंदिर में परिवार सहित शीश नवाया और पूजा-अर्चना कर प्रदेशवासियों की सुख-समृद्धि और उत्तम स्वास्थ्य की कामना की। उन्होंने प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से रक्षा और जनसेवा के लिए माता से आशीर्वाद भी मांगा।
इस अवसर पर उपायुक्त जतिन लाल और मंदिर कमेटी ने उन्हें स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट किया। श्री अग्निहोत्री ने घोषणा की कि 250 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से मंदिर के भव्य भवन निर्माण और सौंदर्यीकरण का कार्य किया जाएगा। श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा हेतु सुगम दर्शन प्रणाली, ऑनलाइन लंगर बुकिंग और ऑनलाइन दर्शन सेवाएं शुरू की गई हैं।
उन्होंने बताया कि 56.26 करोड़ रुपये की राशि प्रसाद योजना के तहत स्वीकृत हुई है, जिससे धार्मिक पर्यटन और आध्यात्मिक विरासत को मजबूती मिलेगी। साथ ही, फरवरी 2025 में मंदिर न्यास के पुजारियों को बीएचयू से ऑनलाइन प्रशिक्षण भी दिलाया गया है।
उप मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार सांस्कृतिक धरोहरों के संरक्षण और श्रद्धालुओं को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने के लिए पूर्णतः प्रतिबद्ध है।

Himachal Pradesh Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri, along with family, paid obeisance at the world-famous Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple. He prayed for the well-being, prosperity, and health of the people of Himachal and sought blessings for strength to serve society with dedication.
During the visit, DC Jatin Lal and the temple committee honored him with a memento. The Deputy CM announced that a grand beautification and reconstruction project worth ₹250 crore will be undertaken at the temple. For devotees’ convenience, facilitated darshan system, online langar booking, and digital darshan services have been introduced.
He further informed that under the PRASAD scheme, ₹56.26 crore has been sanctioned to boost religious tourism and spiritual heritage. Priests of the temple have also been trained through Banaras Hindu University to preserve the sanctity of traditional rituals.
The Deputy CM reiterated the government’s commitment to protecting cultural heritage and providing world-class facilities to devotees.
